Certified translations

Certified translations

Certified translations can include a variety of documentation: legal documents (such as affidavits, contracts, court decisions, wills, etc.), business documents (such as certificates of incorporation, business status documents, work contracts, etc.), education and qualification documents (such as diplomas, academic transcripts, degree certificates, etc.), personal documents (such as birth and marriage certificates, driving licenses, income tax documents, etc.), immigration documents (such as passports, residence permits, asylum claims, etc.).

Upon your request we will provide an official, stamped certificate to confirm that a qualified translator has carried out the translation.

We also provide certified translations for official use in France. One of our in-house translators is a “sworn” translator (traducteur expert, also called traducteur assermenté) appointed by one of the French Courts of Appeal. A translation by a “sworn” translator is an official document in its own right and no further certification or legalisation is usually required for official use in France.

We can provide official “sworn” translations for immigration purposes, residency applications, study applications or real estate transactions, fully accepted by all the French authorities.
